Create Partnerships with companies and brands that will gift you gifts to giveaway and use those gifts to attract donors, volunteers and stay positively engaged with your community.
💡 Key Insight:
The reason to collect names is tied to sponsors—either the prize or the cause. Without both, the program has no pull. Starting with partners ensures value for everyone involved: participants, prize sponsors, and cause sponsors.
1. Partner First
- Sponsor for the prize: A local brand, shop, or service donates a product or service to give away.
- Sponsor for the cause: A charitable organization mission is the reason for the giveaway.
- Why this matters: Without a sponsor for the prize or the cause, there’s no reason for people to give their names.
2. Collect Names
- You’re driving awareness to your cause.
- Once partners are secured, create a simple form where people submit their:
- Name
- Email or phone (for notifying winners)
- This list of names goes into the wheel of names.
